DELTACAP – AN INTELLIGENT CAPACITOR |

DELTACAP consists of intelligent switching circuitry coupled with MPP type of capacitors and used for power factor improvement in industries for typical loads. Surgeless switching is a key feature of DELTACAP as it is switch on using thyristors. This ensures long life of the capacitors and other switchgears/transformer since the thyristor is switched on at zero crossing of the voltage waveform and avoid inrush current during switching. DELTACAP is two step switched capacitor device switched on, sensing no load or load current of the motor. It is very much useful for the loads like compressor or pipe cutting where loading and unloading of the motor is a continuous phenomenon. |
